ing the Government Nursing Staff, at the last meeting of the Legislative Council, to the following effect: In a further telegram, dated the 8th January, Mr. Bonar Law stated that the Colonial Nurs- ing Association were unable to say when they would be in a position to recom- mend candidates," is it not the fact that (1)- The Colonial Nursing Association have recently, sent out a Matron and a Sister to the Staff of the Peak Hospital in this Colony (a,privately-owned Institu- tion), and is it not the fact that (2.)– The owners of that Hospital have recently beard from the said Association that an- other Sister would be willing to come out to Hongkong to join that Hospital, if required (3.) –Is it not also the fact that between May, 1915, and April, 1916, nurses have been sent out by the Colonial Nursing Association, as follows :---(i.)
